Heilongjiang Province has a considerable demand for crop seeds. In 2015, its demand for crop seeds was about 660,000 tonnes, up by 2.71% compared with 640,000 tonnes in 2011. Heilongjiang Province holds a cautious attitude towards the promotion of crop varieties. This article reviews the varieties of rice, corn, wheat and soybean promoted in Heilongjiang Province in 2013-2015.
